Gabriela Gold is an experienced executive and international management consultant with over 25 years experience in the private and public sectors. She is results oriented with extensive leadership, strategy, and management experience. She is known for leading U.S. and international engagements, driving sustained performance while balancing strategy and planning with implementation for timely and on budget deliveries. Her multicultural experience underpins her ability to influence across boundaries and cultures – corporate and country. She has operational experience in Africa, Asia, Europe and Latin America, including G-8, developing- and post-conflict countries. Ms. Gold is fluent in English, Spanish, German and French; basic Italian.

At the World Bank Ms. Gold successfully managed a $2.8 million leadership development budget. She was an advisor to leadership in change management initiatives. Ms. Gold managed the Leadership and Management Development program and designed and implemented curricula for high-potential and managerial cadres. She led procurement efforts from request for proposal (RFP) through vendor selection for leadership and human resources programs. At the organizational level, she fostered development of cross-organizational opportunities throughout the World Bank Group agencies. She initiated partnerships with International Financial Institutions (IFIs) and United Nations Agencies (UN).

At the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Ms. Gold managed a budget of $1.3 million and developed and introduced a leadership strategy and management learning path. She introduced development programs for high-potential and leadership staff. She advised managers on design and implementation of change initiatives as part of overall organizational reform. She partnered with the World Food Program (WFP) and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) counterparts to identify opportunities for interagency cooperation.

At Ernst & Young and Gemini Consulting, Ms. Gold used her skills in the international arena to work on strategy and process redesign. As Engagement Manager she conducted a strategic review for major US-based consumer products firms with operations in Latin America. Ms. Gold worked in the financial service sectors in the U.S. and abroad. As resident Project Manager at a major Austrian financial services institution, she streamlined mortgage processes and increased approvals by 64% and designed the new organizational structure.

Ms. Gold earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Darden School of Business Administration, University of Virginia. She earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins University, Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and earned her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English, German, French Languages and Literature from University of Minnesota, Duluth graduating cum laude and was elected to Phi Kappa Phi and Alpha Mu Gamma.
