Ms. Graves is a recognized leader and executive-level management professional offering over 20 years of experience in business development, program management and managing client relationships with an emphasis on Research and Development project management, portfolio management, and systems development. She has extensive experience in the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Intelligence Community (IC) and international markets including all phases of business opportunity capture through client delivery. Ms. Graves has a proven ability to think strategically, produce results, build strong teams and deliver better than industry staff retention.

During her tenure as a Principal at Booz Allen Hamilton, Ms. Graves held key positions leading teams to capture, win, and execute on a variety of engagements providing services to the government, including technical and management consulting, financial management, program management, strategic planning and acquisition. She supervised the generation of enterprise wide scientific needs assessment, technology risk evaluation, R&D Investment strategy development, budget and schedule analysis.

While a Senior Associate, Ms. Graves won the re-compete of a single award $250M/5-year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) and achieved 20% growth over 5 years. Michelle was instrumental in the award of a contract extension for a total of 45% growth over 7 years. She also achieved 15% growth over 3 years on a multi-award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with net revenue of $3M/yr. while reducing costs on several delivery orders crediting $50K and corrected $80K in billing errors.

As a Systems Engineering Manager, Ms. Graves successfully tested and delivered several multi-million dollar system development programs for international clients with markets in North Africa, South America and Eastern Europe.

Ms. Graves received her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Johns Hopkins University, where she also earned a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science. Ms. Graves earned her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Systems Engineering from Boston University. She completed additional professional coursework in Fundamentals of Systems Acquisition Management at Defense Acquisition University and also attended AA Leadership Institute Executive Education at UCLA Anderson School of Management. She received a Certificate of Leadership Development from The Johns Hopkins School of Business, earned her Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, and received the Professional Achievement Award from the Black Engineers-sponsored Women of Color in STEM Conference.
